Days that start with french toast and strawberries can rarely go wrong.

Therefore I began my day with french toast and strawberries! Sweet start to say the least. A cup of coffee and catching up on one of my favorite summer addictions (Pretty Little Liars) then I was off to the scene of last nights unfortunite events.
Barnes and Noble had my keys, which were left in the second story of the store beside… my own book. AH! Really. Only me.
Before leaving Barnes I managed to find one more book that I had somehow missed last night. It was fate that I had to return so soon to Barnes. Fantastic.
So new book in hand, I head to the pool, today is perfect.
Clouds sprinkled the sky and the sun tanned my skin ever so slightly. The water was cool but not cold. My ipod play list lingered with

Song for Jesse- Nick Cave & Warren Ellis
Be Here Now- Ray LaMontagne
Swans and the Swimming- Iron and Wine
Dory- Grizzly Bear
Nude- Radiohead
Division- Moby
Made- Greg Weeks
This One’s for You- Ed Harcourt
Angeles- Elliott Smith
Sweet Dreams- Danny Elfman
To Be Alone With You- Sufjan Stevens
Phantom Other- Department of Eagles
I got to meet Jacob-Reed, and his older brother Nick. A game of horse was played in the pool, I did beat Jacob-Reed (who all of 6 years old), just barley. After my incredible afternoon at the pool I somehow found myself in TJ Maxx buying pots pans and other things for my kitchen, one of which was a huge Better Homes and Garden cook book.So tonight I had to make a delicious flakey warm honey covered pastry. With a deep breath I start my bath water and thank God for the amazing life I get to live. Days like these make me happy beyond belief. I have also decided my future husband must like to eat… a lot. Because I love to cook. A lot.
