My life in boxes…

I have had pieces of my life packed away into boxes for the past few months (Since April) and some boxes packed since 2007.

I unpacked my last box yesterday, as I cut the tape open and pulled out the contents of the box I realized my life had shifted, and unpacking my last box, to me meant I was home. My name wasn’t on a lease for nine months, or a year. I wasn’t in someone else’s home. My name is however on a mortgage wooow.

So now I am in my own home, fully. There are not belongings of mine in Arizona, at my parents or anywhere except for in my own house.

I have not felt as settled as I do now in years… since 2006 probably.

It is an amazing thing to unpack boxes, I see who I was in boxes, through pictures, jewlrey and clothes(some of which had to be given away). I see who I am currently pulling things out of the same box.

I am so… grateful, and blessed to be where I am.

I can’t help but feel overwhelmed when I think of how far God has brought me. Him, and His amazing grace. I also can’t help but thank Him. Thank Him that I am not who I was 4 years ago, thank Him for what’s ahead, and thank Him for my now.

My now, in my house, with no boxes.
